October Composer of the Month

In October, we are highlighting Ludwig van Beethoven, a German pianist and composer of the transitional period between the Classical and Romantic eras. Born in Bonn, Beethoven’s musical talent was seen from a young age, and he later traveled to Vienna to study under Haydn. Throughout his life, he created 722 works, with 9 symphonies, 35 piano sonatas,

and 16 string quartets. He defied the onset of deafness at the age of 28 and continued to write well into old age. Beethoven is said to be one of the most influential composers of Western classical music, and he is remembered for his creativity and expression. We would recommend listening to String Quartet No. 13, Op. 130 for its emotion and intensity!
